Better Tomorrow for the Deaf Limited is dedicated to creating opportunities, breaking barriers, and building a more inclusive world for the Deaf community in Uganda.
Better Tomorrow for the Deaf Limited is a non-profit charity organization which was founded on February 7, 2020, by Sempa Wilson, a passionate advocate for empowering individuals with limited resources. Recognizing the challenges faced by the Deaf community in accessing essential services, skills training, and opportunities for growth, he was determined to make a difference.
Located in Kigoogwa Cell, Gombe Division, Nansana Municipality, Kampala, Uganda, the organization was established with the mission to provide practical support, education, and empowerment. Through initiatives in farming, sewing, sports, and vocational training, Better Tomorrow for the Deaf equips individuals with valuable skills to improve their livelihoods and achieve self-sufficiency.
With a strong commitment to fostering inclusion, independence, and opportunity, the organization continues to create lasting change, ensuring that every individual, regardless of their hearing ability, has access to a brighter and more empowered future.
"Our mission is to empower the Deaf community in Uganda by promoting accessibility, education, and economic opportunities. We strive to break communication barriers through sign language advocacy, inclusive programs, and policy engagement. Through collaboration and innovation, we work to create a society where Deaf individuals can thrive, lead independent lives, and contribute meaningfully to their communities."
