Better Tomorrow for the Deaf Limited is a non-profit charity organization which was founded on February 7, 2020, by Sempa Wilson, a passionate advocate for empowering individuals with limited resources. Recognizing the challenges faced by the Deaf community in accessing essential services, skills training, and opportunities for growth, he was determined to make a difference.
Located in Kigoogwa Cell, Gombe Division, Nansana Municipality, Kampala, Uganda, the organization was established with the mission to provide practical support, education, and empowerment. Through initiatives in farming, sewing, sports, and vocational training, Better Tomorrow for the Deaf equips individuals with valuable skills to improve their livelihoods and achieve self-sufficiency.
With a strong commitment to fostering inclusion, independence, and opportunity, the organization continues to create lasting change, ensuring that every individual, regardless of their hearing ability, has access to a brighter and more empowered future.

Our vocational training programs provide Deaf individuals with marketable skills for sustainable livelihoods.
Participants graduate with the skills and resources to start their own businesses or gain employment in local industries.
Our sports program builds confidence, teamwork, and leadership skills among Deaf youth.
The program also identifies talented athletes for regional and national Deaf sports teams.
We break communication barriers through comprehensive sign language programs.
Our classes are taught by Deaf instructors, ensuring authentic language acquisition.

Founder & Executive Director
Sempa Wilson is a dedicated advocate committed to empowering undeserved individuals. Recognizing the systemic barriers the Deaf community faces in accessing vital services, skills development, and growth opportunities, he works tirelessly to drive meaningful change.
Coordinator
Calnan Mutyaba is a Ugandan deaf artist and a prominent member of Better Tomorrow for the Deaf Limited. Through his work, Calnan strives to inspire others and promote inclusivity within the art world and beyond.
Patron
Jenny Brewer has always been passionate about helping those in need. She currently provides essential support, resources, and empowerment for children and families in need through the Alberta Foster and Kinship Association.
